NO WHERE IS SAFE

Firstly, thanks to the Sunday Sun, who ran a little missive I sent to them in February concerning Metro congestion in East Boldon. They also gave me £50 for the pleasure, which as I type is on its way to a local charity very close to my heart.

No thanks however, are due to various Northern Councils who plan to extend their smoking bans to include parks, football pitches and municipal areas. These restraints, backed up by Government desires to stop parents smoking in their own homes where children are present, represent state intrusion not seen since the Gestapo inflicted their regime of hate across Europe. This nation spent six years fighting tooth and nail to keep Fascist control at bay, yet allow our own leaders to inflict such controls on us. Where will it all end? See the Sunday Times, it’s all explained!
