THE BEAST OF FLEET STREET
Police marksmen and media head hunters today sealed of the area around Fleet Street, as the news emerged that a dangerous “feral beast” had escaped from the London’s “Tabloid Zoo”. Inspector McBribe, dressed in a child’s “Daktari”outfit and hiding behind his desk said;
“We are advising all newspaper editors to keep their news stories behind locked doors until we can recapture the feral beast. We would also ask that members of the public do not challenge the animal as its stories can be extremely erroneous. We have called in the world famous feral hunter Max Clifford to help us track the beast”.
The animal’s keeper, a Mr Johnny Morris, said that the circumstances about the escape were still unclear. “One minute it was just sitting at it’s desk writing a piece about the Beckhams for Hello! Magazine and the next moment it was gone”
Head of the zoo, Mr Tony Blair, was unavailable for comment as he was hiding under his bed.
