HUFF AND PUFF

Simon Hoggart’s sketch in today’s Guardian highlights a lovely little exchange at yesterday’s “feral” press conference between Tony Blair and ITN reporter Libby Weiner.

Libby: “Has the Prime Minister duped the public over Iraq?”

Blair: “Libby, you want your story for your news schedule don’t you?”

Libby: “No…. an answer please”

What a gem! I have written to Wikipedia to amend the definition of “feral beast” to read “an animal which seeks the truth”. By the way, Blair’s answer contained more huff and puff than a “three little pig” convention.
