SOUTH TYNESIDE’S HOMES NEW BUILDING STRATEGY

After failing to get more than a one star Audit Commission grading and therefore a building grant of £167 million, South Tyneside Homes have revised their building policy for the next year and come up with a novel approach to solve the problem. “We are going to build houses out of sweets, candy and cakes and place them in forests” said Chief Executive, Bob.T. Builder.

Builders merchants Mr Kiplings have been granted the contract to build the homes, with special low fat/gluten/wheat/nut/ smoke/wine free bungalows for the hard of eating.

The Councils first new tenants will be Mr Hansel and Miss Gretel, who previously lived with their wicked stepmother in Laygate. Little Red Riding Hood is expected to move in next week, but Shrek has already been evicted.

Have a great weekend
