The front page of today’s Shield’s Gazette makes pretty sickening reading, with a pet cat and wildlife nature reserve male swan shot by thugs with an air rifle. This degenerate event took place at Tile Sheds Local Nature Reserve, about half a mile from where I live. The swans death was particularly brutal, as it led to its female counter part being attacked and killed by a fox.
