DUNKIRK REVISITED

Liberal Democrat MP Richard Younger Ross launched a stinging attack against the government this week. Calling on Labour to “get our people out of there” he used phrases like “were not wanted by the locals” and “our presence there serves no purpose and only causes aggravation”. So, what was it about then, Iraq, Afghanistan? No, the Eurovision Song Contest. Referring to “songs of mass destruction”, Younger Ross, a man so important he has to have two surnames, called for a 45 minute warning before next years live broadcast of the competition.

Pudsey Bear, the only presenter not to take a fee at last years Children in Need, called Terry Wogans performance a “national disgrace” and awarded the chirpy Irishman “null pounds” (sorry points).

Have a great weekend!
