I don’t know why I buy the Sunday Sun, it just makes me angry. Let’s take for instance a plaque outside the Dun Cow pub in Sedgefield, erected to commemorate the time Bush and Blair called in for fish and chips all those years ago. Seeking a break from planning their “War of the Worlds” tour, the two leaders were pictured pulling pints to subsidise their meagre wages. However, the plaques inscription is littered with factual mistakes, including the spelling of Blair’s name, the date of the visit and would you believe the actual name of the pub whose wall it is screwed onto! Mind you, the residents of Sedgefield should be used to their MP’s glaring errors. Remember the 45 minute warning, now there was a whopper!
